National Institutes of Health (NIH)
"All investigator-initiated applications with direct costs greater than $500,000 in any single year will be expected to address data sharing in their application... In some cases, Program Announcements (PA) may request data sharing plans for applications that are less than $500,000 direct costs in any single year..."
"Proposals submitted to NSF must include a supplementary document of no more than two pages labeled 'Data Management Plan'. This supplementary document should describe how the proposal will conform to NSF policy on the dissemination and sharing of research results."
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)
Data Management Plans are required for some NEH proposals.
National Institute of Justice (NIJ)
The NIJ provides a variety of resources through its longstanding Data Resources Program (DRP).
United States Department of Education
Within the U.S. Department of Education the Institute of Education Sciences is repsonsible for data sharing of data collected through its centers and their grant programs.
